A dominant start has granted the Western Bulldogs VFLW team with their third consecutive win, on Saturday afternoon against Richmond at the Swinburne Centre
Booting an early goal in the first minute of the match, 2018 AFLW leading goalkicker Brooke Lochland slotted the first major of the match, followed by a goal each from Deanna Berry, Kim Rennie and Elisabeth Georgostathis.
The defensive pressure from both sides proved strong in the second term, keeping both the Bulldogs and Tigers scoreless for the quarter. Lauren Spark and Bailey Hunt proved vital in defence for the Dogs, while Celine Moody performed well in the ruck.
A second goal from Kim Rennie at the opening of the third term gifted the travelling side with the momentum to slam on a further three majors through recent AFLW signing, Dani Marshall.
A three goal to one final term stretched the lead out to 43-points at the final siren.
The Bulldogs will head to Bill Lawry Oval next Saturday 24th August to face the Darebin Falcons in the final week of the 2019 VFLW home and away season.
