Western Bulldogs forward Kirsten McLeod has been nominated for the 2019 Goal of the Year, while midfielder Aisling Utri has been named a finalist for the 2019 Mark of the Year.
Recognised for her impressive goal kicked from the boundary line during the Bulldogs’ Round 4 clash with the Brisbane Lions, McLeod was selected alongside Fremantle’s Ashley Sharp and Sabreena Duffy, as well as veteran Crow Courtney Cramey.
An impressive overhead mark on the goal line during the Round 6 clash against the Demons at Marvel Stadium secured Aisling Utri’s Mark of the Year nomination. Converting the grab to a goal, Utri was named alongside Carlton’s Tayla Harris, Geelong’s Phoebe McWilliams and Adelaide’s Eloise Jones.
