Williamstown has finalised its Coaching Panel for season 2008 with Brad Gotch to remain Senior Coach of the Seagulls for the next two years.
Williamstown has finalised its Coaching Panel for season 2008 with Bard Gotch to remain Senior Coach of the Seagulls for the next two years. Brad has also been appointed Development Manager at the Western Bulldogs and will assist in the development of the younger Western Bulldogs players.
The club is delighted to retain the services of an experienced Premiership winning coach such as Brad and look forward to the next two seasons with Brad in charge.
Other members of the Coaching Panel for 2008 include Saade Ghazi Williamstown great who returns to the club after coaching Port Melbourne into 2 finals series in the past three seasons.
Saade has been appointed Assistant/ Reserves / Development Coach and will be Brad Gotch’s right hand man on match day and will also be in control of coaching and developing the younger players on the Williamstown list.
Andrew Gibson another former Williamstown player to return to the club will be the Forward Line Coach next season, Andrew was with Port Melbourne the last few seasons as an Assistant Coach.
Doug Barwick has been re-appointed as a Line Coach and will be in charge of the Seagulls midfield brigade. Andy Hayman who was Opposition Analyst/ 1%ers Coach in 2007 will continue in those roles next season as well as looking after the Seagulls Defence.
