Saturday night’s Round 2 clash between the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda is set to be a celebration of the Club’s Community Foundation, with fans given the chance to learn more about the impact the Foundation has across the community.

Reaching over 20,000 people each year, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation is the Club’s community arm and uses the trusted brand of the football club to deliver life-changing programs across Melbourne and Victoria’s west.

Right across Saturday’s match-day, fans at Marvel Stadium will hear about the work of the Foundation first-hand, including from a number of people who been involved with the Foundation’s programs.

From 5:30pm in the Fan Zone outside Gate 7, a range of prizes and giveaways will be on offer at the Community Foundation stall, including the chance to hear about opportunities to get involved in the Foundation’s programs and events.

The Bulldogs' side will run onto Marvel Stadium through a guard of honour featuring participants from some of the Foundation’s 10+ programs, before breaking through the banner adorned with the Foundation’s logo.

At ¼ time, 14-year-old Fadzai, a participant in the Foundation’s Youth Leadership Project and GOAL Mentoring Program, will be interviewed by matchday MC Samantha Ritchies.  

During ½ time, fans are encouraged to be in their seats as the story of Bulldog Premiership hero Tom Boyd and his involvement with the Community Foundation is played on the big screen.

To become part of the celebration, Bulldogs members and fans have the chance to get their photo on the big screen and win a signed guernsey thanks to the Community Foundation. Simply upload your photo at westernbulldogs.com.au/upload and it will appear on the big screen during the match. You’ll then go into the draw to win a signed guernsey.
