The Western Bulldogs today announced the appointment of Bill Davoren to the position of Head of Physical Conditioning.
Bill was appointed to the role from a highly qualified field of applicants. He has an extensive elite sports coaching background along with success at World, Commonwealth and Olympic level with Triathlon.
“This is a very exciting challenge, being involved within the AFL has been a long term goal,” Davoren said today
General Manager Football, James Fantasia said the Club was pleased to have secured the services of someone of Bill’s calibre.
“We are delighted to make this appointment, Bill will compliment the good work being carried out in this area. We are pleased with the level of qualifications and expertise that Bill will bring to our team”.
Bill Davoren will commence with the Western Bulldogs on Wednesday 5 November.
