Western Bulldogs youngster Rylie Wilcox has claimed a top five finish in the NAB AFLW Season Seven Rising Star count.

Wilcox received 10 votes from the selection panel for her impact in her debut year, finishing fifth overall.

She played 10 of a possible 11 games this season, averaging 11 disposals, two tackles and two marks.

She also registered her first goal at AFLW level in round three – the same game she was nominated for the Rising Star – and finished with five majors overall.

The 17-year-old was the Bulldogs’ only Rising Star nominee in season seven.

Wilcox arrived at the Kennel with the Club’s first selection in the 2022 National Draft from the Northern Knights.
