The 2022 AFL campaign was one to remember for Aaron Naughton.
Finishing third in the Charles Sutton Medal count, Naughton enjoyed a career-best return inside 50 - slotting 51 goals from 22 games.
He was the only Bulldog to notch up more than 50 majors in 2022 – and the first to reach the half-century since Jake Stringer in 2015.
Naughton’s best output was five goals, which he did so twice; against North Melbourne in round five and GWS in round 14.
His pressure and effort around the ground was also impressive, recording 47 tackles, 103 marks and 11 clearances in total across the year.
With 100 senior appearances to his name and still only 22 years old, the Bulldogs’ faithful can look forward to seeing Naughton fly even higher in 2023.
