The Western Bulldogs have informed Louis Butler and Charlie Parker that they will not be offered contracts for the 2023 season.
Butler arrived at the Kennel via a third-round selection (pick 53) in the 2019 national draft.
The 21-year-old made one senior appearance this season in round four, and played four games across three years, after making his debut in 2020.
Parker, 25, was drafted with pick 17 in the 2021 NAB AFL Rookie Draft.
He suffered an injury-riddled campaign this season, which ultimately prevented him from any opportunities at AFL level.
Bulldogs’ General Manager of List and Recruiting, Sam Power, thanked the duo for their contributions.
“We appreciate what Louis and Charlie brought to our playing group, both on and off the field during their time at the Club,” Power said.
“We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
