Western Bulldogs ruck Alice Edmonds has started AFLW season seven in fine form.
With Celine Moody spending more time forward, Edmonds has assumed the number one ruck role across the opening three rounds and is already registering career-best numbers.
The 24-year-old has provided first use on 89 occasions so far this season – 24 more times than her nine-game total in season six.
At an average of 29.7 per match, she also currently leads the competition for both total hit outs and average hit outs.
In round three against Fremantle, she even set a new league record for most hit outs to advantage (15).
With seven matches still to come plus a hopeful finals campaign, Edmonds has plenty of time to break new ground and continue her upwards trajectory.
