The Western Bulldogs will meet Fremantle at Optus Stadium in an elimination final on Saturday 3 September.

The first bounce will be at 8.10pm AEST (6.10pm AWST).

It will mark the first time ever that the eight-placed Bulldogs and fifth-placed Dockers have met in a final.

The result comes after the Bulldogs triumphed over Hawthorn in Tasmania, while Collingwood recorded a narrow one-point win over Carlton earlier today.

In their most recent meeting – just a fortnight ago – it was the Dockers who claimed a 17-point victory over the Dogs at Marvel Stadium.

Channel 7 and Fox Footy will broadcast the final live.

Tickets to the Bulldogs’ elimination final will go on sale from 12pm – 4pm AEST (10am – 2pm AWST) on Tuesday 23 August for eligible Club members, and 5pm AEST (3pm AWST) for the general public.
