Western Bulldogs midfielder Bailey Smith has been charged with headbutting by the MRO for an incident in Friday night's round 12 clash against Geelong. 

Based on the available evidence, the incident involving Cat Zach Tuohy in the third quarter was assessed as Intentional Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact. 

As a first offence, Smith can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.
