Western Bulldogs veterans Mitch Wallis and Jason Johannisen have been named to return from injury layoffs in the VFL on Saturday afternoon.
Wallis has missed the last three weeks with a foot injury, while Johannisen (calf/illness) has not been sighted since being a late withdrawal from the Bulldogs’ AFL season opener.
The duo has been named alongside Zaine Cordy and Luke Cleary in the Footscray side, after they missed out on AFL selection this week.
In total, 14 AFL-listed players have been named in the side to take on Williamstown away from home, at 2.05pm on Saturday.
The Bulldogs have notched two wins from their eight games so far in the VFL season, while the Seagulls sit 18th on the ladder with one victory so far.
The game will be live-streamed via afl.com.au and the Official AFL app, with quarter-by-quarter score updates available via @FootscrayVFL on Twitter.
