Easton Wood won bragging rights over his Bulldogs team-mates as his ‘Rampage’ team triumphed in Friday night’s AFLX exhibition tournament at Marvel Stadium.
The Bulldogs skipper was a member of the team which eclipsed Marcus Bontempelli and Lachie Hunter’s ‘Flyers’ in the Grand Final.
Importantly, all three of the Dogs’ representatives got through unscathed, with the Club’s first JLT Community Series match just a week away.
Wood’s captain on the night, Jack Riewoldt, booted a goal with the last kick of the Grand Final to secure the trophy.
Earlier, Bontempelli was the hero for the Flyers when he kicked a set shot with just seconds remaining to put his side in the tournament decider.
Bontempelli finished the tournament by scoring the fourth most points of any player (56).
