Western Bulldogs trio Laith Vandermeer, Mitch Wallis and Roarke Smith have been included in the final team for Sunday’s clash against Essendon.

It will mark Vandermeer’s first game back since suffering a hamstring injury in round four.

Star midfielder Josh Dunkley will celebrate his 100th game after being named on the half-forward line.

Veteran Stef Martin will act as the number one ruck, while last week’s debutant Robbie McComb has kept his spot in the side.

As confirmed in the squad announcement yesterday, utility Anthony Scott will miss through the AFL’s health and safety protocols and youngster Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has been omitted.

Josh Schache and last week’s unused medical sub, Rhylee West, also make way, with the pair named as emergencies alongside Hayden Crozier and Jordon Sweet.

One of the four will be confirmed as the round seven medical sub an hour before the first bounce on Sunday.

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
