The Western Bulldogs have claimed midfield dynamo Josh Dunkley (pick 25) and highly-rated key defender Kieran Collins (pick 26) in a successful outing at this year’s NAB AFL National Draft.
The Club has strengthened its defensive stocks with mature-aged recruit Marcus Adams (pick 35) taken with the Club’s third selection.
Dunkley is the son of former Sydney defender Andrew and the AFL Academy captain was a potential father-son recruit for the Swans – Sydney opting not to match the Club’s bid.
Bailey Williams, the Club’s final selection at pick 48, is a versatile player who will suit the modern game and although predominantly a midfielder the South Australian can play at either end of the ground.
