Western Bulldogs 16.12 (108) def. North Melbourne 11.13 (79)
The Bulldogs made it 2-0 over North Melbourne in the 2021 season with a 29-point win in round 16, following a Club record 128-point triumph in the earlier Good Friday game.
Cody Weightman enjoyed a breakout game with four majors – three of them coming in the first quarter alone - and seven marks. Jack Macrae made it 15 consecutive games of 30 disposals or more, finishing with 31 touches and seven clearances, while Marcus Bontempelli (27 touches, eight marks) and Tom Liberatore (25, eight clearances) won a lot of the ball.

THE TALKING POINTS

Good Friday SuperClash
For the second consecutive season, and third time since its inception in 2017, the Bulldogs will face the Kangaroos on Good Friday. Named the SuperClash, the match aims to raise much-needed funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital and Good Friday Appeal.
A chance to also put some smiles on some kids’ faces, the SuperClash calls on all superheroes, super fans and super fundraisers to show up in support this Friday afternoon.
The first bounce will be at 4.20pm at Marvel Stadium, with $5 from every ticket sold going towards the Appeal, and proceeds from the match-worn guernsey auction with going towards the Hospital.
There will be a Bulldogs merchandise outlet inside Gate 5 at the stadium, where fans can buy Good Friday bandanas or a copy of Marcus Bontempelli's book, Little Bont and the Little Secret, with all proceeds going to the Appeal.

Options to return
The Bulldogs will need to make at least one change this Friday, with Laith Vandermeer (hamstring tightness) ruled out for the next few weeks.
Mitch Wallis was activated as the medical substitute and could be a chance to retain his spot, while Zaine Cordy is expected to return following a concussion in round three.
Both Stefan Martin and Josh Schache impressed in the VFL last Saturday too, leaving the Bulldogs’ match committee with plenty of decisions to make ahead of team selection.
