Bulldogs’ utility Zaine Cordy will miss the upcoming round four clash against Richmond after suffering a concussion on Thursday night.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury in a marking contest and will enter the concussion protocols for the next 10 days.
“In the first quarter if the game on the weekend, Zaine was involved in a contest, receiving some high contact,” Bulldogs Head of Medicine, Chris Bell said.
“In the minutes following, he didn’t quite feel his normal self, underwent a concussion test that ultimately ruled him out of the game.”
“Zaine has come in well today but will be managed in line with our concussion protocol. We will review his availability over the next 10 days.”
Robbie McComb suffered a rib injury in the narrow victory over the Northern Bullants.
“Robbie received a heavy knock to his ribs and had some associated shortness of breath, so was taken out of the game,” Bell said.
“We will be conservative with Robbie to make sure that he returns to 100% before he returns to playing – we will confirm his availability over the next few days.”
