Katie Brennan is set to miss this weekend's AFLW Grand Final after her bid to overturn her suspension was dismissed by the tribunal on Tuesday night.

Brennan had been cited for rough conduct during last Saturday night's win over Melbourne, but because it was her second reprimand of the season, she was offered a one-match ban with an early guilty plea.

Unless the Bulldogs opt to appeal, Brennan will miss the Grand Final against Brisbane on Saturday, and will also be unavailable for Round 1 of the 2019 season.
