Marcus Bontempelli has scored a perfect 10 votes from the coaches for the third time this season, to rocket into the top-10 of the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.

Bontempelli was judged best on ground, by Senior Coaches Luke Beveridge and Ken Hinkley, for his 29 disposals and two goal performance in the three point win at the Adelaide Oval.

With those votes, Bontempelli has moved to equal seventh on the overall award leaderboard, and is now the top polling Bulldog, after previously being level with Lachie Hunter.

Three other Bulldogs were amongst the votes, with Matthew Boyd, Tom Liberatore and Dale Morris also polling.
