Club names list changes (15 September 2015)

After a much-improved 2015, there was heightened interest in who the Club would part ways with at seasons end. The Club released its list changes in September – and it was one of the most clicked articles on the Club’s website for the year. Click here to read the original story.

Bulldogs’ 2016 fixture released (29 October 2015)

With season 2015 only wrapping up a month earlier, the AFL released the 2016 fixture on 29 October and it was an announcement eagerly anticipated by the red, white and blue faithful. The Bulldogs were rewarded for an exciting performance with three Friday night games and nine Saturday night games. CEO David Stevenson said at the time “To have three Friday night games, and also to play some of the biggest clubs in our home games, it makes for a fantastic season ahead”. Senior Nike Executive David Stevenson appointed new Top Dog (15 April 2015)

After a comprehensive global search, the Bulldogs announced their new CEO on 15 April. David Stevenson was appointed to the top job, and commenced with the Club in August. Stevenson joined from Nike, where he held several leadership positions over his 17 years with the company. Click here to read the original story.

Bulldogs fans vote on the #BeMoreBulldog guernsey (10 February 2015)

On the back of the Bulldogs logo launch in October 2014, the Club invited members and fans to vote on an official #BeMoreBulldog guernsey, which the Club wore in round six against St Kilda. Five Bulldogs named in All-Australian squad (8 September 2015)

It wasn’t the announcement of Bob Murphy as captain of the All-Australian squad, or the selection of Jake Stringer or Easton Wood. It was the announcement of five Bulldogs into the All-Australian squad however, that generated the most attention. On 8 September, Murphy, Stringer and Wood along with Matthew Boyd and Luke Dahlhaus were rewarded for outstanding seasons with a place in the squad. Click here to read the original story.

Bulldogs buoyed by latest draft haul (24 November 2015)

The Bulldogs walked away from this year’s national draft full of promise, with the acquisition of Josh Dunkley, Kieran Collins, Marcus Adams and Bailey Williams. Experience in for elimination final (10 September 2015)

The Club returned to the finals for the first time since 2010 this year, and the reveal of the weekend line-up was eagerly awaited. After missing the final round of the season, Bob Murphy, Matthew Boyd and Dale Morris all returned to the Bulldogs side to run out onto the MCG, while Will Minson and Lin Jong were the other inclusions. Hamling to debut (28 May 2015)

One of eight Bulldogs players to debut in 2015, Joel Hamling played his first game in round nine against the Giants. The match preview for that match created the most attention of any for the year – with Jack Macrae, Nathan Hrovat, Will Minson, Jarrad Grant and Lukas Webb also returning to the side that week.
