The Western Bulldogs will open the 2022 AFL season with a blockbuster Wednesday night grand final rematch against Melbourne.
The Bulldogs resume their rivalry with the Demons at the MCG on Wednesday, March 16 at 7.10pm to begin the home-and-away season.
The round one men’s fixture was confirmed by the AFL on Saturday morning, with more announcements around the 2022 campaign to follow in coming days.
Fans are set to flock to the MCG for the round one fixture, with the clash to be broadcast live on Channel 7.
