Which Bulldog goal will be crowned the best of 2021, as voted by you? Let’s look at the contenders…

Marcus Bontempelli, Round 2 vs West Coast
Down by a point in the dying minutes of their round two clash, the Bulldogs needed something special. Enter the skipper, Marcus Bontempelli, and his match-winning set shot.

Adam Treloar, Round 3 vs North Melbourne
Adam Treloar’s first goal in the red, white and blue was one to remember – using his speed to create distance before slotting one from outside the 50m arc.

Cody Weightman, Round 9 vs Port Adelaide
With little time to think – and his back facing the goals - Cody Weightman threw the ball on his boot to snap a miraculous major over his head, stunning both the opposition and his fellow teammates.

Tom Liberatore, Round 12 vs Fremantle
Tom Liberatore made his left-foot drop punt from the boundary line look easy against Fremantle, converting from approximately 45m out.

Toby McLean, Round 14 vs Geelong
In his first game back after an ACL injury, Toby McLean’s clean pickup and quick kick saw the ball dribble through for a late goal.

Marcus Bontempelli, Round 15 vs West Coast
We’re still not sure how he did it, but while running towards the boundary line at full-steam, Marcus Bontempelli snapped a gravity-defying major through on his favoured left foot.

Bailey Dale, Round 16 vs North Melbourne
Intercepting the ball just outside the 50m arc, Bailey Dale took one bounce before sending the footy back over the North Melbourne defender’s heads and dribbling through for a goal.

Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, Round 18 vs Gold Coast
It’s hard to believe Jamarra Ugle-Hagan was in just his second game at AFL level, when his around-the body snap floated through for his third goal of the day.

Jason Johannisen, Round 23 vs Port Adelaide
With minutes remaining before half-time, Jason Johannisen crumbed the footy, shrugged off a Port Adelaide defender and then used his pace along the boundary to snap truly.

Bailey Smith, Semi-Final vs Brisbane
It doesn’t get much more clutch than Bailey Smith’s left-foot ‘ice in the veins’ sealer. Need we say more?

Voting will close at 5pm on Wednesday 20 October.
