The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation, in partnership with Victoria University and the Victorian Department of Health, will address COVID-19 vaccine questions and concerns in a Zoom webinar next week.
The Play On: Protect Yourself to Protect the Community webinar will see a panel of experts come together to answer all questions on the vaccine roll-out, as the state prepares to exit lockdown.
At the current vaccination rate, Victoria is predicted to reach the 70% double-dose target on October 22 or 23, and the 80% double-dose target on November 1 or 2.
Headlining the group of panellists are the Department of Health’s Acting Chief Health Officer, Benjamin Cowie, and immunisation expert Associate Professor Margie Danchin.
Sobur Dhieu, a facilitator of the Community Foundation’s GOAL mentoring program, and Wallace Butterfield, a participant of the Inner West Youth Leadership Project will also share their vaccination experiences.
The webinar will be held via Zoom on Wednesday 20 October at 5.30pm AEDT.
