Western Bulldogs midfielder Lin Jong is expected to miss at least the next two months of football after suffering a hamstring injury at training yesterday.
Jong was removed from the Club’s match simulation session at VU Whitten Oval, with scans later revealing a high-grade hamstring tear.
The timeline for his playing return will become clearer over the coming weeks, however at this stage the Club anticipates he will return in approximately 8-10 weeks.
First year defender Buku Khamis is also set for a stint on the sidelines after he injured his knee in yesterday’s session.
Khamis strained his posterior cruciate ligament in a marking contest, and is expected to return to playing in 6-8 weeks.
