Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge said he is proud of the way his side fought out the match against the Power in Adelaide on Friday night, after the Club suffered 'nightmarish night' on the injury front.
Six players suffered injuries, with the club revealing that four battled through the pain to see out the match.
Easton Wood was the first to go down with a right hamstring injury ending his night late in the second quarter.
Jack Macrae also played no part in the second half after hurting his hamstring in the same term.
Lukas Webb (thumb) and Tom Boyd (finger) are set to be sidelined despite playing out the match, while stars Marcus Bontempelli and Toby McLean were also in the wars, but the club is hopeful they won't miss any games.
Beveridge said the Wood injury is the most serious.
"He'll be out for a long time I'd say," he said.
"He hurt his hamstring against Brisbane a while ago (round eight) and it's not the same injury."
Beveridge said he wasn't prepared to take a risk with Brownlow Medal fancy Macrae even though his hamstring issue was less severe.
"He felt like he could probably still go but we had to sit him down. We didn't want to lose him for 6-8 (weeks) we may lose him for two or three as it is," he said.
Boyd played on with dislocated finger and Bontempelli hyperextended his knee in the last quarter.
"He (Bontempelli) was very ginger afterwards so he lost his impact and he'd been very influential getting us back in the game," Beveridge said.
Webb has a broken thumb and will need surgery, with the Dogs expecting he'll be sidelined for up to three weeks.
The injury nightmare began in the first quarter with McLean cleaned up in a heavy hit which left him with a sore shoulder.
"It was a pretty nightmarish night as far as the injury toll went. We had players out there who shouldn't have been," Beveridge said.
"That's why I was really proud with the way they fought it out."
