Shoulder not neck Johannisen's concern
Western Bulldogs medical staff have cleared young defender Jason Johannisen of a neck injury, however have confirmed a season ending shoulder injury following an heavy clash in the Club's win over the GWS Giants.
Johannisen has however been cleared of neck injuries by doctors, following a collision with GWS Giants forward Jeremy Cameron early in the third quarter of Saturday afternoon's match at Manuka Oval.
In the midst of a breakout season, 20 year-old Johannisen had played in 13 of the Bulldogs' 14 home and away matches in 2013, averaging 16 disposals as a rebounding defender.
A former rookie listed player, Johannisen debuted in round 19 of last season against North Melbourne, before being elevated to the senior list for 2013.
